​“The peace of lifetimes comes through me now. 
For ages 
I was spun and formed 
by the Earth 
in the water of her passionate love. 
It was not a quiet love, 
it sang out the fullness of death and life 
at once 
as it lands upon our hearts 
to be welcomed 
to be honored 
to never be stifled 
once it has been listened to utterly. 
Humans have shouted on the Earth Mother 
for ages. 
I have heard it all. 
I have heard all despair 
while the Earth Mother was spinning me, 
spiraling me 
shaping me 
with an even-hearted compassion. 
I was formed in every kind of love 
while I also listened to the fullness 
of human pain. 
This has shaped me fully, now. 
I have grown into myself and into the being that 
I have always intended to be. 
I am quiet; 
I am loud 
at once. 
I know despair; 
I know love, 
joined, spiraling through the Earth Mother 
and simultaneously beyond. 
Stand me up 
strong in myself and strong in the Earth. 
I am ready for you. 
I am like you and I am like the Earth Mother. 
I put my heart next to all of it 
equally 
at once. 
When you stand me up 
I release the despair 
by spiraling love into it 
through it, 
beyond it. 
I have no need to change it— 
just to offer it 
its simultaneous love 
our simultaneous love.” ​
